That's quite a draw-back for the popularity of Wave I guess. It would be nice to have friends and family to join you the day after you signed up. The only thing that's really sad, is that the send invites take quite a long time to arrive at the people's mailbox. This results in a Wave account, without friends or family present. But the public blips have been satisfying for now :) I’m having a blast!
